Adolescents & Young Adults

 

Going through adolescence and young adulthood is tough. Not only are your brains and bodies going through a whole heap of changes (as if that wasn’t enough!) it is also a time of transition into being more independent, developing a stronger sense of who you are, whilst trying to find your place in the world. Pressures on you today are ever increasing and constant with the likes of social media.  This comes with its challenges and sometimes we need a bit of extra support to navigate all of this. These are some of things I can help with:

  • Stress and anxiety

  • Phobias, including social phobia

  • Problems relating to particular life events, such as parental separation or bereavement

  • Anger and aggression

  • Problems with friends, family and other relationships

  • Difficulties coping with school, work, college or university problems, or unemployment
